I love the Guardian as Im sure most people know and one of the reasons is the amazing design. I've always been fascinated by news design and the Newseum is always a source of interest. There are several newspapers in the world that look just plain awesome:


Hampton Roads, VA USA
I really love this design, very yoof-orientated. More magazine than newspaper.


Lisbon, Portugal
Obviously Guardian-inspired but pretty well executed.


Amsterdam, Netherlands
I love the date in the headline, very nice touch. front cover looks lovely and swishy.


Minneapolis, MN USA
A rare example of a typically American design looking good, modern and simple.


Mexico City, Mexico
Very nice use of colour and clear headlining. Also like a magazine.


Cagliari, Italy
Probably my favourite of all of them. It's so simple and stylish. Typically Italian.



Lakeland, FL USA
Another rarely good-looking American newspaper.



Fortaleza, Brazil
Really lovely font and a nice clear text. Good colour for the headline too.
